Baron

Baron started off his career with a flash, finishing from the 6-9 puppy class, with multiple BOV wins over specials.

During his specials career, Baron was a group and specialty winner and consistently ranked in the Top Five 15" beagles, all systems.

As a stud dog, Baron has already shown his ability to reproduce his great top line, soundness, short back and wonderful showmanship. Baron's puppies have already made their impact in the show ring, producing BIS, BISS, and group-winning offspring.

More than just a nice beagle, Baron, as Proust would put it, is a 'remembrance of things past' and conceived using semen that had been frozen for 20 years. Baron's sire, CH. Starbuck's Hang'em High, won 23 All Breed BIS, 11 BISS, and 117 G1s; Baron is Prune's 130th Champion!

Baron symbolizes our hope to build a kennel based on the beautiful beagles of the past and present and the many great kennels that breed them. We stand on their shoulders in building Barrister Beagles.
